Cà phê cốt dừa is Vietnamese coconut coffee, made by blending phin-brewed robusta with coconut milk, condensed milk and ice into a thick, slushy drink. It tastes like a coconut milkshake with a serious caffeine kick.

- 20 g Vietnamese ground coffee
- 100 ml coconut milk
- 2 tbsp condensed milk
- Ice cubes
- Phin filter
- Optional: shredded coconut for garnish
HOW TO MAKE IT
- 1Place the phin filter on a cup.
- 2Add 20 g of ground coffee and press lightly with the filter press.
- 3Pour a little hot water (about 20 ml) to bloom the coffee; wait 30 seconds.
- 4Fill the phin with hot water (about 80–100 ml) and let it drip (4–5 minutes). Let the coffee cool slightly.
- 5In a blender, combine coconut milk, condensed milk and a handful of ice.
- 6Blend until smooth and frothy.
- 7Pour the coconut blend into a glass and slowly pour the coffee over.
- 8Add more ice if desired, garnish with shredded coconut and enjoy!
